❓ What kinds of metals do you accept?
✅ We accept both ferrous (magnetic, like steel and iron) and non-ferrous (non-magnetic, like copper, brass, and aluminum) metals. Common items include copper wire, aluminum cans, brass plumbing parts, stainless steel, old appliances, and car batteries. If you’re unsure, give us a call and we’ll let you know.
❓ Do you pay cash for scrap metal?
✅ Yes! Once your material is weighed and graded, we pay you on the spot in cash or check, depending on the transaction and state requirements.
❓ Do you take old appliances?
✅ Absolutely. We accept items like washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, and more. Please remove food, fluids, or hazardous materials before bringing them in.
❓ Do you accept cars or car parts?
✅ We take auto scrap such as radiators, batteries, aluminum wheels, and catalytic converters. Whole cars may require a title—please contact us first if you’d like to recycle a vehicle.
❓ Do I need to sort my metals before bringing them in?
✅ It’s not required, but it helps you get the best value. Different metals are priced differently, so separating them can increase your payout. If you’re unsure, our staff can help identify and separate materials.
❓ Is there a minimum amount of scrap required?
✅ No minimum! Whether you have a single bag of cans or a truckload of mixed scrap, we’ll gladly take it.
❓ Do you provide pickup services?
✅ For larger loads or commercial accounts, we can arrange pickup or provide bins/containers. Call us to discuss options for your business or project.
❓ What items do you NOT accept?
✅ We cannot take hazardous materials like chemicals, paint cans, propane tanks, or items containing asbestos. If in doubt, ask before bringing it in.
❓ How are prices determined?
✅ Scrap metal prices are based on market demand and can change daily. We update our rates regularly to stay competitive, and you’ll always get a fair deal.
❓ Why recycle scrap metal instead of throwing it away?
✅ Recycling metal conserves natural resources, reduces landfill waste, and saves energy compared to producing new metals. Plus, you earn money while helping the environment.
